Highland Campus is Austin Community College’s premier learning destination, transformed from what was once Highland Mall into a national model for innovative learning, sustainability, and training facilities. ACC Highland stands at the center of Austin as a hub for the future of higher education and career training in Central Texas.
In addition to career-technical training and general education courses intended for university transfer, ACC Highland offers an extensive arts curriculum. Programs include the culinary arts, fashion design, music, radio-TV-film, game design, visual communications, jewelry, drama, dance, and more. We are home to the Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy, Bioscience Incubator, Fashion Incubator, and the new IMPACT Lab for Manufacturing. Here, you will also find the original ACCelerator, the nation's largest interactive learning hub, featuring more than 600 computer stations. Highland students have access to academic advising, career counseling, a Testing Center, and much more.
ACC Highland is designated as a destination campus with expanded services and extended hours of operation.
With roots as a Reconstruction-era gathering ground for African-American Baptists, ACC Highland’s newest green space honors the rich history of community, education, and empowerment. The 2.5 acres of community space features a shaded trail and outdoor art exhibits. The UFCU Pavilion serves as the center of the urban commons and will serve as an event and performance venue. It is named in honor of the $5 million donation the University Federal Credit Union presented to ACC for student scholarships in 2022.

Located inside the ACCelerator, Prosper Tax Help helps eligible students, faculty, staff, and community members file for free during tax season. Take care of your taxes privately at the ACCelerator with IRS-certified tax preparers.
Dark rooms, sound stages, and state-of-the-art editing bays put the future of entertainment in the hands of ACC’s radio-television-film, game design, photography, and visual art students.
